2. Vocab review game (anything from the song, the handout,  p116 Kursbuch, or Deutschtrainer is fair game!)


3. Guessing game. Using the following questions, you'll guess what your partner's job is.

WO ARBEITEST DU?

WAS MACHST DU? (IN DEINEM BERUF)

WIE VIEL VERDIENST DU?

MAGST DU DEINEN BERUF? WARUM? WARUM NICHT?


4. Listening. Kursbuch p116 1b. We'll listen to the radio show and crank out this exercise.

We're looking at putting verbs in the past tense. Specifically the following verbs:

lernen - learn

reden - talk

machen - do/make

planen - plan

holen - get, obtain

schmecken - taste

arbeiten - work


7. WRITING AND SHARING

We're going to ask each other what they're doing "WAS MACHST DU?"

Then we'll ask each other "WAS HAST DU HEUTE (IN DER SCHULE) GEMACHT?

VOCAB REVIEW We'll start by playing some charades to review vocabulary from last week. We'll focus on the rooms and the furnishings of page 100 and 101 of the Kursbuch. Class 23 October 2025 - Chapter 10 Part A

 Chapter 10 is all about professions. The book doesn't have a neat list of all the vocabulary for the chapter, so I'd recommend taking a look at the vocabulary list on the DEUTSCHTRAINER page.  VOCABULARY These are the same links as last week. You should be familiar with most of the words and sentences in these links. Apartment Furnishings/Furniture You can find some more vocabulary on pages 100 + 101 of your Netzwerk Neu Kursbuch. It's this page. In addition, we will be using some vocabulary cards.  You can find the link here . We will begin class with a few vocab review games (think pictionary, memory, etc.) ACTIVITY - DATIVE + ACCUSATIVE We will be practicing the use of the accusative and dative case with verbs. #1: We will do the listening exercise 4a (page 103 Kursbuch).  #2: We will do a review of the exercise by stating where the objects are using the DATIVE. #3: We will work in pairs and set up our own apartment using the vocabulary cards from the vocabulary review.
